Six green fingered Goodgymmers visited the bowling club to help tidy up the outdoor area.

We arrived to find the members of the club had already busy clearing some of the area, with the skip already full of fly tipped junk. We were specifically tasked with weeding and clearing the moss, so we picked up our tools and and got to work.

The area was mainly concrete so it was easy to see the difference we were making. Once the skip was full, bag after bag was filled with weeds and moss. The area looked completely different when we finished.

One particular highlight was the baby hedgehogs found burying themselves in the fallen foliage. Their burrowing unfortunately meant a cute picture was not forthcoming.
