We started our session this evening with a spot of astronomy, as Mars was brightly visible in the sky tonight!

After a gentle jog to our start point we had our safety briefing: "I haven't done a training session like this before, sorry if its $#it" "Please be careful and don't die."

Our very conscientious and obliging group managed to stay on their feet despite the dark and quick changes of direction during our "tennis court" warm up sprints. We then headed over to Holbrook Park for sprint relays. We had one lap of flat path and one of undulating hills and slippery leaves - good speeds were achieved despite the conditions.

We were all very jealous of Lucy and Duncan's post-run curry - the smell from Paanchi at our start point was definitely a temptation!
