Glossing On

After a few weeks of sanding and base coat we got to start the top coat on the dockside railing.

Basia is still isolating and being chief cook and bottle washer for her flat mates so Simon joined us for a spot of chopping and high glossing.

We had the added bonus of Justin join us for this mission.

Simon and Kevin started the night by cutting back buddleia along the railing.

Hilary and I ensured the dust sheets were in place because we definitely don't want black gloss dropping on the walkway.

We made a great start on the painting but a way to go as that rail is long.....
