As Phil pointed out, going Tad's did mean going Turkey for Xmas!

While that is settling down, allow me to express our thanks as Hackney Crew to our trainer/coach/mentor/friend Joel for an eventful & entertaining 2017, providing a wide variety of interesting & sometimes challenging tasks & always the right words to keep us all motivated, from just doing group runs to training for & executing a variety of races throughout the year.

Besides the minor point of celebrating the end of year together, there was the little point of two Hackney runners earning their 'wings'... both had been putting in some considerable efforts to reach the mile-stone before the end of the year and it was a delight to see both reaching their target tonight! so do give both Ros & Phil a well deserved cheer to celebrate with them! with of course a nod to Ivo for his impeccable timing to be there to hand out the #100 shirts.
