On a sunny Saturday afternoon Adam and Lowri arrived at Ms D’s house. She greeted them at the door with a big smile and bag full of tools.

Ms D had been sleeping on an old single bed for the past week as she could no longer get upstairs. So, the task awaiting the runners was to move the single bed outside ready for collection and bring Ms D’s double bed downstairs into her living room - ready for it to be transformed into her new bedroom!

After taking the single bed outside, Adam set about dismantling the base of the double bed while Lowri removed the bed covers. The first step was to take the mattress downstairs. After maneuvering it through the door and down the stairs, the runners finally got it into the living room. Next was the base - luckily this was in 2 parts so getting it down the stairs was much easier. After getting everything into the living room, Lowri and Adam set the double bed up in it’s position.

Ms D was over the moon. She couldn’t wait to sleep in her lovely double bed again and couldn’t thank the runners enough.
