A thousand thanks to everyone who's joined us this year, in total (one last run of 2013 still left tonight) our runs have included 1004 runners.Jasmine Morris writes:Whilst others were lazing in front of the TV reaching for another mince pie the goodgym lot met up at the Arch Gallery for their last Monday run before Christmas. With so many good deeds to be done the group split into 2 with 7 heading off for Spitalfields City Farm.Once we arrived at the farm and were handed gloves, pitch forks and wheelbarrows we headed to the manure heap. Our task was to move as much manure from the pile to the otherside of the farm in 45mins as we could. Although we were missing out on the mince pies there were some extra special guests at the farm to keep us in the festive spirit - a couple of reindeers who had spent the day at Santa's grotto. After some fast paced manure shifting (we worked it out at 1 wheelbarrow per minute!) the group raced back to the Arch Gallery with a series of sprints and caterpillar runs. Bricking it: Another team of runners hit streets of Hackney wick running a 3km to the arts and performance space Activ8 where a pile of approximately 1,526 bricks were liying around in piles on the floor.  They needed to be moved so that an 'Ecoship' could be installed: For the week of hitting 1000: a picture paints a thousand words. Becky Greenwood produced this drawing describing last night's brick shifting. The bricks were duly shifted in 20 mins into a nice neat stack. And the place was left brick free -ready for installation of eco-house. This run was dedicated to Burchill Williams.  Burchill was the GoodGym coach who encouraged Carl's running, who has sadly passed away this month.
