On a drizzly evening three damp GGers met in Lambeth to shift a sofa. We've all been there before - it all seems pretty simple. At the start.

We were feeling confident until we climbed the three sets of stairs to the top of the house and saw the sofa in question. One huge three seater sofa. Two narrow door ways and one very tight corner. We started to do the maths.

Thankfully James and Andy were feeling strong, and while I stood about being less than useful dripping rainwater onto the carpet, they twisted, turned, pivoted and manoeuvred to finally achieve success. Well done you two - the very least I could was write the report after offering zero muscle!

After a quick chat with Mrs B's son, where he casually mentioned that to get the sofa in part of the banister had to be sawn off, we waved our goodbyes, successful victors in another epic battle of man versus sofa.
