Mission

Best foot forward, Spit Splott! A garden clean up Mary Poppins would be proud of!

3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.

Saturday, 1st of September 2018

This Saturday morning Aimme, Nathan and Darren cycled and ran to Splott to help Mrs M with some gardening.

Nathan got to work cutting back the shrubs along the wall line, even taking time to creatively train the flowering sections to be on display in a most delightful way (see the selfie pic - he was very proud!). Aimee cleared the path to make it safer and an brushed up all the loose leaves and debris. Darren cut back the bush at the end of the garden to keep it in check and make things look practically perfect in every way.

The 3 Poppins prodigies then worked together to clean up any weeds and dead plants. In a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious hour they filled 5 bags with garden waste. They stopped short of sweeping the Chim chim-in-ey, chim chim-in-ey Chim chim cher-oo!

They left Mrs M enjoying her cup of tea (with a spoon full of sugar no doubt!) and set off to go fly a kite!

PS - Mary Poppins Returns is in cinemas in December! ;o)
