Adventures in Narnia
5 GoodGymers made their way to help the British Heart Foundation in Kingston upon Thames.
- Tuesday, 7th of February 2023
- Led by Rob Haworth
Five GoodGym heroes ran and walked to lend a hand sorting the enormous stock room at Kingston British Heart Foundation store, aka Narnia.
We welcomed Jana to her first mission and it couldn't have been a better one to start with as charity shops are her happy place. Christine showed us what we needed to battle and we slayed a pile of Amazon return packages by organising it into cages destined for the underworld (basement).
Claire, Jana and Jade then did the lion's share of the lifting, sending vintage furniture upstairs that Jassy and Laurel arranged into a blockade of chairs, suitcases and mirrors (wardrobes were lacking). Great fun as always, thanks to Christine and the team for having us and taking such good care of us with the refreshments.
