Acton junior park-sun!

The last hot day of the year (well, we'll see about that!) brought 58 young parkrunners to Acton Park to conquer the 2 km course. The kids braved the route, not giving up even running up the hill - what a determination! 💪

GoodGym Ealing and H&F came early morning with a strong team of 8 amazing cheer-machines to support the regular junior parkrun volunteers.

Joanna was in charge of the whole event, wearing the run director's vest. Sevan, Harvey and Kash pointed the runners into the right direction as marshals. The funnel was secured by Chris, today's funnel manager, and Divya in charge of the finish tokens that were eventually scanned by Madhan. As usual, Chikako played the important role as the VI guide, making sure parkrun is an event for all abilities.

We will be back to Acton in October for junior parkrun... however if you are hungry for some feel-good early morning cheering at a run event in a great company, come to the Ealing Half Marathon GG cheer station!
