》Our newest GoodGym angel

Tonight we celebrated John's 100th good deed.

In his own words this is how John describes his GoodGym experience

My 100th (and 101st!) Goodgym good deed today. When I started at Worthing GoodGym I could not run for 15 minutes - I might have made 10 if pushed! Since then I have run a full 5k (quite a few times!), completed two 10k races, and run 13.5k on one occasion. The support and encouragement of other GoodGymers has made a world of difference. I am now (at least sometimes!) a runner, I’ve over a hundred good deeds under my belt, all of which make a positive contribution to our local community, and I’ve made some great friends. If you get the chance to join in with a GoodGym group, I would thoroughly recommend it...

》Welcome Becky

It was great to meet Becky this evening at her first GG task. What great work on the weeding! I really do hope your knees are ok with all the kneeling you did. We hope you will come back to our lovely group very soon.

In other news it was a happy and fruitful visit to the church gardens today with some great photos and work achieved.

I love the concept of getting physically and mentally fit whilst combining it with helping others. I run most days.
