Some Goodgym Members helped their community with some litter picking in July.
Litter picking in July, Is a great way to get by, It makes us feel so good, And helps our neighborhood.
It's simple and it's fun, And when we're all done, We can look back with pride, At the progress we've made inside.
So let's all pick up some litter today, And make our world a better place to stay.
Litter picking is an activity that brings people closer together, enables neighbors to meet one another other and helps create a greater sense of pride and community in local areas. It is also recommended by Public Health England as a good way to boost mental and physical health. Litter picking keeps you active, helps you live in the present moment, and provides a sense of achievement that can really boost your mood1. It is also an incredibly important action given that more than two million pieces of litter are dropped in the UK every day.
