Ellen and Darren met in Canton this Saturday Morning to run 4.5k to help out Mr W in Whitchurch.

They got a little lost on the way, but it was a happy accident as they met some lovely people from a Community Garden project. Ellen took their details and we will hopefully help them out in the future.

It was a lovely sunny day but the Goodgymers had applied their suntun lotion and set about helping Mr W. He wanted some bushes and shrubs cut right back so he could better use the space in his garden.

Ellen and Darren spent an hour and a half cutting, pruning and chopping away, with a quick break for a glass of squash kindly offered by Mr W.

As they came to run home Mr W was very pleased with the changes to his garden. He and his daughter will look to plant in the beds that were cleared. He also seemed keen to have Goodgym back to help with more tasks for him, and I quote "I haven't fallen out with you yet" ;o)
