This evenings task was a new one - a visit to the Baby Bank, a charity run by volunteers out of a local church to help new mums in need with some essentials & bare necessities for the babies, like clothing & diapers etc.

This new session unwittingly turned into a male vs female kind of session.

To start with the ladies left early to walk to the task, with the gents chasing them down - I do have to mention Dharmesh being on TOP form with puns & one-liners all the way down to the task.

Arrived at the Baby Bank the teams stayed the same - Hélène & Linda tackled leafletting in the nearby streets, leaving Dharmesh, James & myself to help the lovely Lindsey to sort through some bags of donations into the right types & sizes etc. Blink and it was 45 mins later and time to start packing up. Helping a few bags with bits down for Lindsey, the ladies timed it excellently to pop back from leafletting just at the right moment.

With a promise to Lindsey to return soon, we split into walking & running back to base, happy with being able to help out such a great organisation.

Next weeks group run is back in Hainault with Julia. Anyone up for some Baby Bank leafletting this Wednesday afternoon?
