Lost to a tree
first job was to see if I could continue from last week and remove a tree root, i could not, might need less spade and more lopers or an axe.
Moving on, 2 others plus myself got on the task of shifting bark to the path, which we continued to 12:30, where we called it a day.

Well Oiled
The title of this report refers to a remark Food Bank Task Owner Genevieve made saying that the Food Bank Team now runs like a well oiled machine and she was right. Five GoodGym experienced pickers, packers, shelf fillers and clearer uppers blended in with the other helpers getting on with the job and getting it done in super quick time.

Boxing Clever
When we arrived we could barely move in the entrance to Frenford Food bank for boxes from the recent delivery. First on scene Jay, James and Linda made a start on emptying the boxes until Linda and Jay were called away to start packing where they were soon joined by Dharmesh. James continued with clearing the boxes which was expedited by the arrival of Peter and pretty soon we all allocated to packing. After much picking, packing, shifting, singing, dancing and playful shoving we were finished in what seemed like double quick time. A little tidy up, a quick catch up chat over some out of date Capri Sun and a couple of broken biscuits and we were off home.

Food Bank at Frenford on a Friday

The timings of this are loose, turn up when you can and leave early if you need to. Any time you can chip in will be appreciated.
The mutual aid food bank is in need of some helping hands to help prepare and pack food packages for the residents in need. .
As always, you're encouraged to walk/run/cycle to the mission and back, if that's available to you

'Lets make some noise'
As before with visiting the Baby Bank at the Cornerstone Church, it is always part of the fun and challenge to find some funny prints. This time was no different, as shown in some of the pictures, with Kathryn's one the inspiration for the title!
James & John & Kathryn set to empty the bags and sort the content, with Linda bagging up selections ready for handing out, with Kathryn joining her soon.
All bags cleared, everything that could be sorted and prepped done, it was time to make our way back to base, so with the grateful thanks of our host we set off into the lovely evening.
