Volunteering @ St Barnabas Counselling Centre's 50th Anniversary Event

St Barnabas Counselling Centre are celebrating their 50th Anniversary at Bishop's Gardens to rejoice in their achievements and the hard work of their 30 counsellors, all of whom are volunteers themselves!

The event will run from 13:00-16:30pm and set-up will be from 11:00am.

They would be so grateful to get some help from GoodGym volunteers with the following:

Selling tickets on the door, set up at 11am (trestle tables, chairs, putting up decorations etc), serving food and refreshments and pack down after 4.30pm, so all our volunteer counsellors can really enjoy the day, be made to feel special and to be able to mingle with the public so we can continue publicising the great work our organisation do.

If you can’t stay for the whole day, then even an hour of your time would be so appreciated! Once you have helped set up, you would be welcome to stay for free cake and a cuppa! As it falls on father’s day you would also be so welcome to invite your own family and friends. Tickets will be sold at £5. Free for volunteers that help out!
