Who this task will support
Abundance Oxford
Abundance is a community project to harvest & forage seasonal gluts of local fruit and food- nettles & elderflowers through to the more commonly picked apples, pears & plums. We redistribute, preserve, press apples etc. into juice & have a lot of fun doing so; meeting new people all the time. Abundance's main goal is to help harvest the glut of city fruit, especially private unused fruit: and redistribute this surplus to the community to be enjoyed, on a not-for-profit basis - to community cafes, workshops, homeless shelters, old people's homes, asylum seeker projects, surestarts & individuals. We aim to do this with minimum negative impact on our environment.

This mission has been cancelled. The weather will be too bad for it to go ahead. We will try and arrange another date for it to go ahead.
