Tibthorpe Loop half marathon

David and I went for a recce of Tibthorpe Loop and can confirm it is a good one. Ideal course for your first trail half marathon, or take it very seriously and race for the podium. It will be the first edition of the event and you will be amongst 199 other runners discovering this beautiful route. Organised by the good people of Ultra Trails. Here is how they describe it on their website: „The Tibthorpe Loop is an easy to navigate, undulating but not technical half marathon through the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. A generous 5 hour cut-off time means you can enjoy a day on the trails without the pressure of time. The event starts and finishes at the eco friendly Field House Camping & Coffee Barn near Tibthorpe. Enjoy free parking, great facilities and a wildflower seed medal to reward your finish. £2 of the entry fee goes towards supporting local charities.”

Yes the cafe is great, they even have a table tennis table inside. The entry fee of £16 is a bargain for what you will get.
