The days are getting longer, the weather slightly warmer and Covid infection rates are coming down. Spring and hopes of a return to some sort of normality are in the air!

Every week I will be setting you an outdoor activity, an indoor home workout and suggesting something to do/visit/look out for on your run/walk or cycle to help you explore and appreciate our wonderful city. As always let me know of any of your own suggestions.

Outdoor workout

Run (walk or cycle) easy for at least 10 minutes to warm up

Run (power walk or cycle) for 1 minute fast, easy for 2 minutes to recover (repeat 6 times = 18 minutes)

Complete your run (walk or cycle) at a leisurely pace.

At home workout

Perfect for stiff, creaky runners' bodies or if you have been sitting down all day.

Go visit

The starling murmuration on the seafront at sunset. If you haven't witnessed this marvel of nature then you are seriously missing out! The birds circle above the pier as one, appearing like a cloud of smoke before settling down for the night at sunset. It's a seasonal phenomenon and will likely be over in the next few weeks so make sure you don't miss out! Take a pic and share it with the group.
