Thames Barrier to Tower Bridge - Goodgym South London Long run
Keeping your distance up with warm company
Location

Date and time
11:00 - 13:00For those in London keen to keep their distance up in December, there's going to be a couple of longer training runs happening - the Graham-led run in North/East London and this.
On a Saturday, we're going to run 17k from the Thames Barrier centre in Charlton, to City Hall just past Tower Bridge. We'll have a pit stop at Surrey Docks Farm for loos and hopefully a quick goat, and we can pop to the Pommelers Rest, a nearby Wetherspoons, for optional eat/drink after.
I'll be leading a group running at 6:15-6:30/km - if you're keen to meet us en route, let me know in the comments here or pop me a message, and we can pick people at either of the following points:
11:50 - 7 km - Cutty Sark
12:20 - 11km - Surrey Docks Farm by side of river. There are loos and cute fluffy things here, so we'll have a 5-10 minute pitstop
1:10/1:15ish - 17km - FINISH (and optional post run pub visit)
Any questions? Pop me an email at dom@goodgym.org or WhatsApp me (07572440974).
Details:
Meet outside Thames Barrier Information Centre at 10:45am (this is a 15 minute stroll from Charlton if you're keen to take train). We’ll start running at at 11.00am. Important: if you’re aren’t there at 11.00, we won’t wait! There will not be anywhere to leave bags (as we won't return to the start), so be prepared to run with anything you bring 🏃♀️🎒
