Weavers Adventure PlaygroundWhat the task is
We have been asked to lend a hand supporting the Saturday playground staff at the busiest time of the week, 3-5pm.
For more details of what you will be doing, please read below.
Please note: you need to hold an up-to-date DBS certificate for this task. Please bring details of this with you to the task.
What you will be doing
We will be supporting playworker Alex as he hosts activity for the many visitors to the playground at the weekend.
That might include odd jobs; overseeing arts and crafts activity; cleaning; clearing; setting up for playground games; helping facilitate sessions on the basketball court...
You will only be allocated tasks you feel comfortable with. Relevant experience is always useful, but definitely not necessary.
What you need to know before the task
Please arrive promptly at 3pm. If you need to leave early, let Alex know on arrival.
You will need to bring proof (DBS number is fine) of an up-to-date DBS certificate.
I will be leading this task with Alex. If I am not at the session, I will be available for questions and queries, and am in touch with Alex throughout. (Alex is very familiar with GoodGymers - we have been going to the playground for five years). Please contact me at laura@goodgym.org if you require more information. - Laura
