As we get to know the locations of the Winter Night Shelter, we also get to know any tricky bits at the venues. At hotwells the unloading is always super quick as the night shelter volunteers often help with the unloading too. Then comes the really tricky bit which is trying to get various cars to shuffle up so the Van can squeeze its way around in a 137 point turn and out of the church and on its way. We timed it badly today as all the shelter volunteers were arriving and trying to get in just as we were trying to get the van out. Thankfully with a bit of patience and some goodwill from other drivers, we managed to get Emma's van out and on its way.
