Transition 2 is a college in Derby for young adults with learning difficulties and/or autism. They have a fundraising event at college taking place in partnership with Rolls Royce, who want to raise some money for the college to buy some outdoor exercise equipment for the learners. This is being organised by Simon, a GoodGym member. It’s a great team, and we expect lots of smiles. The task will be supervising 5km team rowing (at the college) or 5k team running at Normanton Park.

Hi Gwyn and all, just heard from Simon at Transition2 that this event has been cancelled due to the prodicted freezing temperatures tonight on top of the snow on safety grounds. I've texted the derby goodgym WhatsApp group. Simon will send an email too, to confirm.
Cancelled by Transition 2 because of danger from ice and snow on the course. Forecast temperature tomorrow morning is -4C.
