Wowzers!!!! It was a hot one tonight!!! Emily ran to the task (in this heat!!!) and Karen and I cycled (still hot but not quite as bad as running in it). It was touch and go as to whether it would be too hot to paint in but it all turned out ok as the paint wasn't quite bubbling!

This week we were tasked with painting the railings and the gate at the front of the building. They were sanded and prepped last week but the spiders have been busy during the past week and there were plenty of cobwebs that had to be blown away before we could put the paint on!

It's a bigger job than it looked and even with 3 of us on the job, we didn't manage to complete it. However, what we did do, looked fabulous! What an improvement on the 'council green' colour that was there before!

It was lovely chatting to Emily and Karen and getting to know more about each other. And as always, it was a pleasure to be led by the wonderful Jan from Wishing Well. It was just a really lovely relaxed evening in wonderful company.

Great work ladies! You're amazing!
