Weed a lot to do

Four of us made our weekly Wednesday visit to St George's Church and the Antz Kidz Activity Centre to assist them with a gardening task.

Since lockdown restrictions eased a few weeks ago, it's been a great re-leaf to return to one of our favourite task owners to help them maintain the outdoor area of their brand-new Britwell site. We had really missed our good weed for the day!

*Sweeping beauties *

During the mission, each of us claimed a corner to de-moss the paving area - which ended up proving to be quite the workout in itself. We rounded off the evening by sweeping the unwanted greenery away and leaving the flooring clearer and tidier.

As you can see from the pictures, you could not herb our enthusiasm! Transforming the area from a litter bit mossy, to absolutely radishing! We can't wait to return and finish the job though - we just have a small patch left!

We hope to see(d) more of you next week too!
