A more than damp day didn't dampen our spirits as the full contingent of 6 litter pickers showed up and picked up plenty of rubbish.

We found a bit of shelter in amongst the trees that separate the rec and the golf course which had already been well used as a party place.

The most exciting finds were a wing mirror, bike lock and an old mobile phone. We did find a bucket but it was half full of cement so we had to leave that behind.

We finished with plenty of recycling and a couple of bags of rubbish. The park ranger arrived just in time to collect our pickings.

Well done to everyone who came out in the rain. We did have our GoodGym tshirts on (Jen was giving the wings tshirt its first outing) but mostly they stayed covered by coats and other layers.
