Welcome to GoodGym Liverpool

We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects in our area.

This week we will be celebrating our 2nd Birthday! More details to follow.

The Task:

This week we're heading to a brilliant multicultural children's centre on Lodge Lane called the Greenhouse Project. We've helped at the project numerous times with a variety of tasks including painting classrooms, building a mulch path, gardening and even wrapping Christmas presents.

This week's task details are TBC but it will no doubt be something super useful for this small but vital organisation.

The Run:

GoodGym is for everyone. We welcome runners of all abilities and it is often possible to walk to the task if you would prefer. We always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is. This week's run is around 2.5km in each direction on a flat route - so perfect for newbie runners. If there's time, we'll have a fun fitness session after the task too.

Sign-up now and bring your friends!

GoodGym Liverpool meets inside the Hope Street Hotel, usually in a lower ground floor meeting room. Ask at reception for details. We meet from 18:00 and leave for our run at 18:30, returning at 20:00.

Group run cancellation

Following extensive research, consultation with our trustees and work on how GoodGym as a community can play a positive role during the Coronavirus outbreak we have reached the conclusion to make extensive changes to our operations.

**All group runs will stop for the foreseeable future**

This decision has been made as these are the events at which most people gather and at which we are most at risk of spreading infection.

We will continue to update this page with our most up to date guidance:
