We join the fabulous Friends of Mile End Park this Sunday for their June litter-picking session!

What you need to know

  • The group will meet at 10:00 outside the Art Pavilion, off Clinton Road, for introductions and a briefing with John from Friends of Mile End Park.

  • This task will be led by John (John is very familiar with GoodGymers, and will be expecting you!).

  • You'll stroll around the park for a couple of hours max, collecting litter, making the park even more lovely for locals to enjoy, while chatting and making new friends.

  • The GoodGym Central team have asked us to make you aware of current Met Office/UKHSA guidance on this weekend's weather.

  • At the end of the litter-pick, the group enjoys a coffee/cake social at the Coffee Room on Grove Road!

  • It's best to wear footwear with good grip (no sandals!) and no shorts (the nettles will get you otherwise!).

  • If you have your own gloves, rubbish sack and litter-picker then please bring these, otherwise some will be provided.

How are you getting there?
