To help provide some motivation for the last couple of weeks of the GoodGym January Challenge, we have a challenge for you to complete around Ealing!

If you want to know more about the January Challenge just click here to see how it’s shaping up. Basically you just need to run, walk or cycle and make sure you connect your Strava account to your GoodGym profile for your mileage to count.

How to take part:

  • You can run, walk or cycle as part of your daily exercise to take part - use this as your motivation to get outside safely to exercise!

  • Complete the challenge by 31st January

  • You can complete it in one trip or as many individual trips as you like.

  • You can complete it in any order you like but the clues are in the order needed to spell out the sentence so you’ll need to keep track of which one belongs where!

  • You’ll need to use the app or website https://what3words.com/ to find the locations - it’s a excellent way of finding exact locations!

  • Take photos of the letters along the way to spell out the sentence when you’re done. So for example if the first clue was a location of a street sign for the Uxbridge Road and I was asked to take the first two letters of the sign, I would take a photo of ‘UX’.

Here are the clues:

  • Clue 1: Find the street sign in location ///senses.hobby.robe - take a photo of the first two letters.

  • Clue 2: At location ///gives.loudly.burns you’ll find another street sign. This time you need the last two letters of the first word. Clues 1 and two spell the first word of the secret sentence!

  • Clue 3: ///soup.silly.eaten There’s a business here with a blue sign it’s called The ‘what’? Take a photo of the signage and you’ll have your second word.

  • Clue 4: ///slide.papers.begin Will reveal the next word in the sentence - You’ll need the first three letters of the street sign at this location.

  • Clue 5: At ///gent.bronze.fence you’ll find a house with a white gate, the number here is the next part of the sentence.

  • Clue 6: If you take the first three letters of the name of the restaurant at ///leaves.bolts.wiser you have the next word in the sentence.

  • Clue 7: The next word in the sentence is the first word when you arrive at the tube station located at ///fantastic.washed.gets

  • Clue 8: Next we want the two letter word contained in the first word of the street sign which is the ‘3rd person singular present indicative of be’ (hint, the two letter word we need starts with ‘i’) This can be found at ///energetic.grain.safe

  • Clue 9: There’s a street sign At ///zone.hunter.noted take a photo of the first word. That’s the next word for our sentence!

  • **Clue 10: ///squad.safe.means There’s a shop here that’s called ‘The ‘what’? Take a photo of the signage to complete the sentence!

Once you’ve visited all the locations and have all your photos piece them together to read out the secret sentence!

Follow along in the WhatsApp group and share photos with olivia@goodgym.org for the report afterwards
