Treat your Mind, Body and Heart!

You have 6 days of tasks to complete to treat your Mind, Body and Heart. Each day choose at LEAST one you would like to do, but make sure you choose items from different lists! You can do them more than once if you want!

MIND *Choose a book or podcast on personal development and spend at least 10 mins on it.

(My favourite is Dr Chatterjee Livewell Podcast to listen to when I run!)

*5 Minutes in Nature: Go to a nearby park, trail area, beach, viewpoint or even your back garden. Stop, breathe, take in the moment and be mindful of what's around you. You can do this as part of your run or walk but put the phone away, headphones off and enjoy the moment!

*Make yourself a smoothie packed with nutrients for the brain! Blueberries, avocado, nuts and even cacao for a chocolate flavour!

BODY: *Go for a run/walk and spell out a positive word using road names or shops

*Go for a run / walk and add in a litter pick as a good deed wearing your Goodgym t-shirt. Bonus point if you add it onto your Goodgym profile as a good deed!

*Take 5 minutes to do strength exercises or yoga. This could be from you tube or an app. Or keep it simple with bridges and crabs in your lounge, or lie on a acupuncture mat!

HEART: *Celebrate yourself - Write down 3 qualities you love about yourself

*Reframe the day - Write down 3x things that went well today. Anything from a smile, to the last car parking space, a happy customer or a joke you shared.

*Carry out a random act of kindness. Phone / message a friend and tell them something to make them feel special. Send a postcard to a isolated person in a care home or far away. Buy someone a take away coffee. Anything to make another person smile!'

These 6 days start from Thursday 26th November until Tuesday 1st, leading us out of lockdown 2.0

So relax, choose some healthy habits just for you. Maybe, just maybe, you can carry them on after this week!
