Unfortunately we have to start with the weather - not only did it soak us, it also meant that the trees we were supposed to be planting weren't delivered in time. Fortunately (or unfortunately?) a recent bit of refencing around Petersham common meant that bulbs we had planted in a previous mission were now in a bad spot and likely to be ruined so a bulb evacuation was required.

Carefully picking through the soil we located the bulbs and moved them to a safer spot; looking forward to seeing them in spring.

Feeling cold and muddy it was nice to warm up with a small group run back towards Richmond.
