The extreme heat scuppered our plans to visit Luxmore Gardens earlier in the month so we were all excited to be heading back there! As we gathered outside Glass Mill there was some deliberating over where we should do our warm up, with the dog pack in our usual spot and a game of cricket happening in the back up spot. We squeezed into the middle of both and went through a warm up routine.

After a couple of weeks of longer runs it was a treat to be heading up the hill on a shorter run meaning we'd have plenty of time to spend at the task.

There was lots of weeding for us to get stuck into and the most popular task, cutting back an overhanging tree.

21 wheelbarrows later (great effort Steve!) and a significantly bigger compost pile (and some replanting of ornamental grass), it was time to say our goodbyes and head back to Glass Mill.

Next week were off to Seniors, it's a bank holiday so travel lightly as Glass Mill won't be open to store bags!
