Four GoodGymers helped the Caritas charity to prepare for their Bollywood night. Jen, Jo, Maura & Judy were given the task of preparing more than 100 scones with lashings of jam and cream. These would make a delicious dessert after the curry, samosas and onion bhajis laid on for the evening. We also helped move and set up the drinks tables, including ice buckets of white and rose wine and jugs of fruit drinks. We were thrilled to discover that one the event's organisers, Cathy Hannam, had represented GB in several athletics events at the 1976 Montreal Olympics! After preparing trays of mouth-watering scones we left as the Bollywood music was playing. It looked set to be a fun Bollywood night!

I love to combine keeping active, helping my local community, protecting the environment and having fun with others doing the same.
