Elf & Wellbeing, Packing Toys and Books for Christmas - Tuesday's Group Run !!

GROAD or Get Rid of and Donate are a fantastic organisation who collect donations from the public and distribute them to those who need it most. Currently they are helping people through the cost of living crisis, providing clothes and supplies to rough sleepers for the winter and giving donations away for the festive season.

This week's task is to help out at GROAD's Shurgard Storage and pack toys & books into gift sets for children and distribute to vulnerable families from schools in Lambeth & Southwark.

This is a truly festive task which will bring a lot of joy to young people and their families so don't wait - get signed up and let's get fit doing good. ⛄ 💙 🎅

UPDATE 12/12 The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice see Met Office Warning for your area. The warning started yesterday, with today being at its peak, and gradually fades throughout the week, currently ending on Friday 16th December.

Due to the concerns around the snow settling or icing, there may be an increased risk of slips and falls while traveling to sessions, and while completing tasks, during this time. To mitigate against these risks we advise you to:

• Check back in the listing to see whether it will go ahead tomorrow afternoon.
• Be prepared for colder than usual temperatures.
  • Please wrap up warm and bring additional layers
