Prospect Hospice
Prospect Hospice offers unparalled end-of-life care services for a community of more than 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and North Wiltshire.

We have been asked to deliver Light up a Life service packs on behalf of the Prospect Hospice. Similar to last year, because of COVID-19 restrictions, this year's Light up a Life celebration will take place online rather than in the grounds of the hospice on Sunday 12th December at 4:30pm.

The service will keep many of the traditions that those who have been attending over the years will be familiar with, including readings, carols, the procession of lantern bearers and the important lighting of the Light up a Life candle 🕯 as we remember those special people in our lives.

For those who make a donation to the hospice as part of the Light up a Life appeal, the hospice is also offering a service pack, which includes a candle, order of service and a star tag to hang up at home. Our job is to deliver these packs in the week leading up to the event so that those attending will have a very similar experience as they have done in previous years.

Simon has already collected the packs from the Prospect and put them into postcode areas ready for distribution to Team GG Swindon from Saturday 4th December. Please sign up and make a comment below as to which area you are able to deliver to:

  • SN1
  • SN2
  • SN3 including Stratton St Margaret, Covingham, the Parks, Eldene and Liden
  • SN4 including Wroughton, Broad Hinton, Wanborough and Royal Wootton Bassett
  • SN5
  • SN6
  • SN25

Packs can be collected from Emma at Lydiard parkrun on Saturday 4th December; please message me directly via WhatsApp or email at emma.s@goodgym.org if you cannot collect at that time. Packs can then be delivered to residents from Saturday 4th December to Saturday 11th December.

Thank you 😊 Your help is very much appreciated as without these packs, this event wouldn't be able to go ahead as planned.
