Creating a new community space for Kingston Road Recreation Ground
Enhance the park for all its visitors

We are needed to help clear some shrubs in front of the new boxing gym next to the children's playground for the Kingston Road Recreation Ground. The bushes are overgrown and need a hard prune so they can grow new shoots in the spring. There may be some litter-picking and weed clearing too. This will benefit the users of the park and being so close to the playground will hopefully create a lovely area for local families.
The Friends of Kingston Road Recreational Ground are very grateful for our assistance. We will be provided will tools for the tasks but don't forget to bring your headtorches and gloves. The waste should be left to the righthand side of the pavilion and Glendale will remove the Green waste the following day. Aaron Way is the contact - 07919 031160
We will meet at The Quaker Centre at 6.45pm and will run 2km up to the Richmond Road Recreation Centre via Bonner Hill Road. We will be meeting Aaron at the entrance of the park opposite Dickerage Lane - if you want to meet us there please leave a message in the comments.

New to GoodGym?
This is a GoodGym group run, where we run to help a local community organisation and then run back.
New GoodGymers are welcome to GoodGym group runs - no one gets left behind. You're unlikely to be alone, hundreds of new people sign up every week.
