Date and time
18:30 - 20:15Our first task at The Bronte Youth & Community Centre!
This centre has been running since the 1960s and has recently undergone some renovations. Now they have exciting plans for the large piece of land behind the centre — transforming it into a fantastic growing space with raised beds, polytunnels and an area for nurturing and growing things.
But first… we need to clear the ground!
And this is where Goodgym can really get involved right from the start. As we’ve seen so many times before, when we all get stuck in together, we can make a huge difference. We’ll be helping to create the foundations for something that will benefit the centre and the local community for years to come. There will be tasks to suit everyone.
This task will be in the dark, so please bring your head torches and/or chest torches. We’ll have some additional lighting too.
Don’t forget your gardening gloves!
Meeting options:
6:30pm — meet at the Suitcases if you’d like to run or walk to the task. It’s really conveniently located for this! 6.55pm meet at the task The Bronte Trowbridge Street L3 5NB
Come along and help us get this project off the ground — literally!
