Group run

Our first run of 2020 to Cecil Sharp House (and C4WS)

It's the classic outdoor vs indoor task dilemma - which will you choose?

Description

Welcome to GoodGym Camden! We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects in our area.

GoodGym Camden is the best way to get fit in North London. We meet at 6.45pm, there's a short intro and then we're off on the run just gone 7pm.

We'll be splitting the group again as usual:

  • We'll run up to the wonderful people at the C4WS Homeless Project; we'll be making their 15 beds for the night so that homeless people from the area can come and get a good's night sleep out of the cold.

  • A bigger group of us will be going back to Susannah and Cecil Sharp House to help with their garden there, with some leaf-clearing, sweeping and tidying.

We meet at The St Pancras & Somers Town Living Centre, on the other side of the building from the main entrance to the Crick Institute. Look out for the red t-shirts!

There is somewhere safe to leave your bags and toilets are available.

We welcome all abilities but ask that you are able to run for at least 15 minutes, don't worry though we keep together as a group and no-one is ever left behind! Come along and join us.

Gonna be a good one - I'm looking forward to it!

There's space to change and leave bags and toilets. We're not planning to do anything purposefully dangerous, but GoodGym takes no responsibility for your safety during group runs, you participate at your own risk.
