Let's get quizzical.

On what had been forecast to be a wet day 8 Goodgymers met for a sunny afternoon in the park. Mat had done a sterling job of setting a quiz which allowed us to get to know the park and each other better.

The clues had us searching for weird and wonderful facts displayed around the park from numbers displayed on a ventilation unit to the names of various people displayed on benches and plaques in the garden to flavours of ice cream and oh so much more. Mat clearly has an eye for minute details.

Despite the assertion that this was not a competition no one could resist the banter of rivalry between the two teams which played out on the group WhatsApp until.... the two tribes cane across each other. queue a famous Frankie Goes to Hollywood song..... and then there was the dastardly rumour that went round that the quizmaster had run off with the 20k prize money!

We reconvened for cuppas and cakes and the much awaited correct answers.

And then the all important prizes. The categories were as followed;

#Furthest cycle ride to get to the event.

#Most active on the website encouraging members

#The most calm anchor of the teams

#Person who has signed up for their first park run today

#The person who sent the most live locations of the day.

#The most quick turn around from non competitive to engaging in (friendly) competitive plotting.

There was no rain no thunder and lightning (very very frightening Galileo...). The sun shone and we exercised our legs with the walking our core with the laughing our mouths with the talking..... and eating and our brain cells with the thinking.
