A successful first colab with the GCR volunteer team completed. Nick, Jimmy and Jen were set to cutting back the overgrown vegetation along the grass verge used as a parking area. Of course it wouldn't be a GG task without litter picking being involved - 3 buckets full and a bag of drinks cans for Nick to donate to Air Ambulance. The GG team made good work of the overgrown vegetation and cleared the lot quite swiftly, after a spot of grass trimming by a GCR volunteer the area looked fabulous. Hopefully this is the start of a great partnership with GCR. The next session will be scheduled for June with the intention of a monthly visit. Please check out the future sessions for the next GCR/GG task.

Gwyn and Tracey helped Mr D by assembling a flat-pack bed frame for him. The frame snaped together easily once it had been released from its crackley plastic, and sturdy plastic plugs poped into place, keeping the slats secure. We were able to recycle the packaging afterwards, leaving everything neat and tidy.
