Two GoodGymmers helped out at Watermead Junior parkrun, supporting the young runners and helping the event run smoothly.

It's mother's day weekend and big shout out to all the mothers who volunter at Parkrun and Goodgym. We had Dave Jeanette and Katy at watermead, at Braunstone we had Ian and at Abbeypark we had Martin welldone all.

Jeanette, Gillian, Samuel, Nick and Sam joined the great team from CRT on their work boat. The mission was to collect trash from the canal. 17 bags of rubbish collected. The usual footballs floating on the water got snaffled plus a chair, children's bouncy frame and lots of plastic bags! Mission accomplished.

It's international womans Day tomorrow do a Big shout out to all the female volunteers at parkrun and Goodgym . This week we had Jeanette and Dave at watermead and Martin at Abbeypark and Ashley at Melton welldone all.
