About this session

This week's Group Run is to Canbury Community Garden and help with tasks such as weeding, watering and turning over the compost.

We will also be tending to the GoodGym plot in Canbury Gardens and making sure our garden is free from weeds and rubbish and looking great. Depending on the weather we may need to give the plants a water so we could do with some strong arms to get the water from the river.

This is a great beginner task where we can show how gardening keeps you fit and the advantage of people power to get heavy tasks done as a group. The task could include weeding so shoes and clothes might get muddy. Gloves and head torches will be needed.

Location
The community garden is next to Canbury Secret Café in Canbury Gardens, quite near the bandstand which is a visible landmark.

What 3 Words for Canbury Community Gardens: ///pushed.wasp.goes Meet at the Quaker Centre for 6.30pm for a 2.5km run/cycle over or at Canbury Community Garden for 7pm.

We can arrange a walking group so please let us know if you want to walk instead of running or cycling. This is a great starter session for newcomers so please come along and see what GoodGym is all about.
