Tonight, four GoodGymers met to collect water from the Thames for the GoodGym Kingston flowerbeds. The water is absolutely vital for the plants especially as the heat rises. A lot of these plants were lovingly planted by Claire, so we need to look after them to provide a colourful plot in Canbury gardens.

With the heat wave in full force the worms were sensibly hiding as Levita and Claire made a very early trip to the GoodGym flowerbed to gather water from the river and give the plants a good drink.
They had survived the blistering heat well but needed a drink as did we after two trips to the river pulling out buckets of water and pushing the wheel barrows full of water up the hill.
Hopefully the rain will come again soon.

Kingston upon Thames Report written by Levita Figueiredo
It was a beautiful sunny Sunday as our team gathered at the Forest School allotment at St John’s to help improve the outdoor learning space. We assembled new planters, transferred the soil and plants from the old containers, and completed the repotting process. We removed and disposed of the old planters, cleaned the surrounding area, and cleared away accumulated junk and waste. These efforts enhanced the appearance of the allotment, creating a cleaner, more attractive environment for young students to learn, explore, and enjoy. To top off a rewarding day, we also visited Salt and Pepper, the therapy goats, along with the chickens and bunnies, which made our day even more special.
