The Running Out of Time climate relay is an ambitious non-stop relay from Ben Nevis to Big Ben to highlight the impact of climate change and call on decision makers to take action.
People from all over the UK will be running, walking, cycling, kayaking, climbing, wheeling, swimming and surfing the baton 2,436km across Britain for 29 days to supercharge awareness, celebrate great climate work and inspire action.
GoodGym is a key partner of the relay and is calling on all GoodGymers to get involved. There will be sessions happening all over the country.
St Andrews Youth Club to Southbank Centre
This stage of the relay will take the baton from St Andrews Youth Club in Westminster to Southbank Centre in Lambeth . It's an 1.8km run and they aim to complete it in 25 minutes due to plans to stop along the route for plenty of photos.
This will be a led run with everyone running together.
The run will start at 19:00 and we will arrive at the Southbank Centre at 19.25.

The Running Out of Time relay is a mammoth undertaking. This year they are adopting a ‘pay what you want‘ approach. There’s no pressure to pay – everyone is welcome and the more people who take part, the more impact we’ll all have. However, we are a group of volunteers and have substantial costs to cover. So, if anyone is able to pay an entrance fee, then thank you for doing so.

Really sorry to have to pull out. My husband has just tested positive for COVID and I don't want to risk passing on the virus.
