Come along to cheer on the many GG people who’ll be racing and pacing again this year. We’ll be running an aid station near the canal, just off Hackney Road. It’s a great opportunity to be out amongst the carnival atmosphere of a big sunny race, and get GG out there and seen and remembered by thousands of people competing, supporting or just passing-by… The role itself amounts to handing out cups of water to people racing - you’ll love it!

• A free place on an upcoming LimeLight Sports race. So: Hackney Half Marathon 2024, Asics London 10K 2024, Oxford Half 2024, Etape Caledonia 2024, or a free annual LimeLight Sport membership. The membership includes up to 50% off, and no booking fees on race entries.
• Volunteer travel expenses can also be claimed, for London events this is up to £15 for public transport travel or cycling.

Times: 07:00 – 13:00 (although we ordinarily get signed-off rather before this)

Getting there: Cambridge Heath Overground is 5mins and Bethnal Green Central Line is 10mins on foot. If you’re running / cycling it’s right by the canal where the gas holders are.
