A small but perfectly formed group of GoodGymmers left Queens Square for Brunswick Cemetery on a damp Tuesday night. One run leader and six back markers - the ultimate mix?!

We soon arrived and started kitting up with lights, trowels and bags to set out on our intrepid search for The Path. Crunchie noises are good (and Crunchies taste lovely) and soggy noises are bad (and no-one likes a soggy bottom, though we all had soggy knees).

The spiral is definitely growing and with people each taking on their own section of path, there were moments reminiscent of the Channel Tunnel breakthrough as gloved hands met under the turf thats been hiding the path.

Having re-used the grass on an area thats missing its own, we were soon packing up and trying to take a photo of progress - much easier the next morning!

After the run back to Queen Square and a proper wash of muddy hands, we carried on the chatting with talk of Christmas presents including the fizzy water making machine...
