The forecast for today's trim and tidy task wasn't favourable but that didn't stop the Goodgym volunteers heading to Jubilee Square to finish off the clearance of the unwanted weeds which was started the week before.

A downpour greeted us on arrival but once that cleared we got stuck in, and were joined mid task by a community volunteer.

Sadly Danni was unwell last minute, so the harvest of rhubarb will have to wait until next week. But even with just three pairs of hands and a few basic tools we had the job wrapped up within the hour. Filling 2 bags with 'fat hen' and dead weeds and with clearing quite a bit of litter.

Thursdays from 6-7pm - why not stop by and support New Malden Town Centre Partnership with maintaining this pollinators paradise.
