Eight fantastic Goodgymmers were game for a double session day with a Tiny Forest Planting Day at Willowbrook Park, Leicester along with Earthwatch.

"Tiny Forest brings the benefits of woodland right into the heart of our cities and urban spaces: connecting people with nature, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change, as well as providing nature-rich habitat to support urban wildlife". Earthwatch

After a brief introduction and demo of tree planting the team were off and away planting tiny trees.

There were 200 trees for us to plant along with some local residents. 600 fill the area which a local school had been to help out.

Shout out to Dawn on her 10th GoodGym good deed, she's completed those quickly. Great having you on board and becoming a regular, everyone has really welcomed Dawn, she bakes the best cakes!

GoodGym Derby members Gwyn and Tracey joined us too. Good fun had by all on our second task of the day and Jimmy cycled all the way there! Super weldone everyone.
