New Year’s Day is a special day for parkrun as it is the only day of the year when you can do a New Years double of two parkruns in one day! But double parkruns require volunteers & today’s Worthing parkrun had double trouble in the shape of the GoodGym Robinson’s! Belinda stepped up as Run Director taking charge of proceedings & setting the runners off on their first parkrun of 2020. Meanwhile John not only helped with pre-event set up which included an extra long finish funnel but also stepped in at the last minute to bring up the rear as tail walker & ensure all the runners, joggers & walkers were safely back.
