I arrived absolutely sodden at M’s for our weekly social visit as the heavens opened en route. The chocolate brownies were unharmed in the deluge and remained perfectly moist!. We chatted about the former Lewisham snooker hall (pictured) that is being turned into a church; ‘lost’ churches and spring blossom and flowers.
