Today we took advantage of the beautiful weather alongside our lush parks, and tried to change the status quo of plastic pollution with a plog.

Plogging is something that anyone can do and it directly helps your community. Take some gloves and a bag for trash the next time you go on a walk, jog, or run on your favorite community trail or route and pick up any litter you see along your way.

And, for our non running friends, a park litter pick was also an option as Michael ran down to the start like a weird litter picker relay.

The Parks were alive with Cricket tonight, with T20 happening in the Glamorgan Cricket ground in Sophia Gardens, and every local club in the parks playing along too. It made for a lovely environment to run / walk around doing good picking up whatever rubbish we found. As the two groups made their ways off to their routes it wasn't going to be a totally split task, as there were four additional meeting points for us to get together and spend some time with each other.

It was a glorious day for some outside activity and we managed to get together four full bags of rubbish that were left at park bins for collection as we took to the task with eagerness.
